Should I switch to something else? Like most programmers I saw on internet were using VIM or EMACS. a NeoVim plugin written in Lua that aims to provide a the simple functionality of highlighting text like one would do in a normal document editor. Editor A NeoVim plugin for highlighting visual selections like in a normal document editor. Some only work when sublime is restarted. Editor Rsms sublime text theme for python. So I tried the default Build System of Sublime but it didn't worked, then I tried few build system from internet and also tried few packages too.But they don't work properly, some don't even run, some don't take input, some through errors-like access not granted,g++ ,or C++14 etc. I usually work with C++ and at times in Python too. As I already use Sublime text for web-development and really love it therefor I wanted to use it for programming too. Few of my friends suggested VIM and EMACS but their learning curve is very steep. I wanted to switch from IDE to text editor.I wanted to use one text editor for all my projects instead of switching IDE's and also wanted to just use keyboard for programming instead of mouse, also if I use single text editor then I don't have to remember different key-bindings/shortcuts. (Noob to programming, self learning)(windows-10) I have been using IDE for programming(Code Blocks for C++ and P圜harm for Python ) and Sublime text-3 for web-development. ![]()
